  1. We would just like to say thank you not only to your company but to our hotel where we stayed for displaying your information booklet. Can certainly recommend the Super Saver Auschwitz Birkenau & Salt Mine if you are having a short stay. Although a long day it is worth it. Matthew & Alexandra organised very well and kept you fully informed about the day. The driver Martin was also most helpful. Would use and recommend you again.

    1. Hello guyz! We are more than happy to hear such comments. You don’t know how essential it is for us to make your stay in Krakow as good as possible :). Such feedback gives us a lot of motivation to keep doing it and improve! Thank you Mr & Mrs Lavis!

  2. We are coming (group of 4) to Krakow on the 24 th March. Would you be able to send any information and maps of the city please? Is there a shuttle from the airport to the City Centre, and how much will it cost please. We are booked into the Apis Hotel for 4 days:
I have been a manager of our tourist office for 27 years and know how your local TIC can help when on a short break in another country.

    1. Dear Mrs Williams,

I am glad you reached us. I will be more than glad to send some details about city. Here it goes:

      – Yes, there is a shuttle from the airport directly to your hotel with link here :] https://quicktransfer.com/route-from-krakow-balice-airport-krk-to-apis-159-787.html – Price is 10€ per person for shuttle so regarding 4 people I would recommend a private minivan since standard car has up to 3x people :(.
      – I have also sent a Krakow map directly to your email address with Old town and Kazimierz
      – You can also download free audioguide here https://krakowcard.com/audio-guide
      – All tours are available here: https://discovercracow.com/tours/ its good to book Auschwitz Birkenau in advance as places are limited for this trip.

If you would need any help! Just ask me :]

  11. Hi
We will be spending a couple of days in Krakow in May, from the 6th to the 9th. We would like to pack in as much as we can in those few days.
Could you please give me some information on transport if it’s possible for us getting there and back. Can we get a three day ticket for tramport . Also information about bus touris. We would like to get to Auschwitz and the Salt mine.
Both myself and my husband are in our early 60s.

    1. Hello Gladys!
I am happy to help you with your questions 🙂 In order to use public transportation (all the tram and bus lines) you can purchase a 72-hours ticket, it is 36 PLN per person. Another interesting solution is to buy 3 days Krakow Card (with that card you can use all public transportation without any limits and you can visit 40 museums and attractions in Krakow). To get from and to the Airport you can use a Bus (its included in Krakow Card) or train to get to the City Center, or if you wish to be dropped off at your hotel you can take a taxi at the Airport or book a Transfer in advance. There are also different solutions for travelling to Auschwitz and Salt Mine – you can purchase the organized tour with transportation in advance and have a seat secured or you can go there by yourself and try to buy the ticket on the spot.
I hope I was able to help you a little, and of course if you need me to elaborate on those options you can contact me at: karolina.sleczkowska@discovercracow.com

I hope to hear from you!
      Have a nice day 🙂
