About

Perhaps the figure of Emeryk Hutten Czapski does not tell you much, but believe us - it was an extraordinary character. Extremely educated and high-ranking official was keen on numismatics. The passion has developed to such an extent that during his lifetime the collection became the most valuable set of coins and medallions in Poland.

Today, there are as many as 100,000 of them in the Museum. The interiors of the Czapski Palace has been beautifully restored, and the garden around it invites you to spend a nice afternoon in it.
