About Zakopane Tour

Begin with pickup from a central meeting point in Krakow. On the way, pass by Chochołów, one of the most beautiful villages in Southern Poland, known for its historic wooden houses still inhabited today. Your guide will share insights about its history as you enjoy the views from the bus.

Stop at a place where regional cheeses (oscypek) are made, where you will be able to taste them and also drink traditional Polish vodka. Upon arrival in Zakopane, your guide will assist with the funicular, saving you time.

In the town center, enjoy free time your way: try local food, shop for souvenirs, or simply take in the mountain views before the highlight — a long, relaxing session in the geothermal hot springs of Chocholow Thermal Baths.

These hot springs are among the largest spa complexes in Poland, known for their health benefits and positive effects on the skin and overall well-being. Families will love the slides and children’s zones, while adults can relax in outdoor pools or enjoy a drink at the pool bars.

❗Please note: Entrance fees are not included and are payable on-site by card or cash.

Gubałówka Funicular - Extra fee (optional)
Being in Zakopane, it is absolutely necessary to take the cable car to the top of Gubałówka (1123 m asl). A modern car with a glass roof allows the railway to climb upwards, wonderfully admiring the evident multi-storey arrangement of the Tatra vegetation with the peaks of high mountains in Poland. There are many attractions at the top, most of all, a wonderful panorama of the Tatra Mountains, an uninterrupted view of the mountain Zakopane located at the foot of the mountain and the possibility of relaxing in the sunshine.
Krupówki - the heart of Zakopane
If it is believed that Zakopane is the heart of the Tatra Mountains, then Kropówki is the heart of Zakopane. You will visit this most popular walking street, which is at the same time a specific city square and its focal point. At any time of the year, Krupówki Street is crowded with tourists who visit shops and go to regional restaurants located along the street. In this street, you can find many traditional highlander items to buy, such as clothes and souvenirs. You will have free time to get to know Zakopane on your own. Start from Krupówki and take your time to find other points of interest in the city.
Free Time to Explore
Enjoy ample time on Gubałówka to take in the breathtaking views and explore at your own pace. If you wish, you can descend the mountain and stroll along the iconic Krupówki Street, immersing yourself in the heart of Zakopane’s vibrant atmosphere. The choice is yours!
Chocholow Thermal Pools - Extra fee (optional)
After exploring Zakopane and the surrounding area, the driver will transport you to the thermal pools, where you will be able to relax and feel the health properties of thermal water.
Return to Krakow
Relax on the ride back to Krakow in the afternoon, where the tour concludes with drop-off back at your original departure point.
